Production Labourer - Part-Time/On-Call
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work area daily and communicate with other departments about materials needed.
- Ensuring quality of crops are maintained (watered and good quality/staging).
- Reporting if crops do not meet quality specifications prior to processing.
- Working with other team members to ensure orders are filled correctly and timely according to customer specifications (i.e. planting, potting, tagging, propping, sleeving orders).
- Assisting in unloading pots and stickering UPC labels.
- Always maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Other general labour duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Required to complete physical work including standing for extended periods of time, pushing/pulling – carts, lifting heavy objects on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.)
- May be required to perform repetitive tasks
- Working in varying temperatures – can be subject to extreme heat
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week
